INSIGHT

The Center for Reproductive Rights uses the law to protect reproductive health care as a fundamental human right that all governments are legally obligated to protect, respect, and fulfill.

In the lead up to Supreme Court’ ruling on HB2, a Texas law that placed insurmountable restrictions on the state’s abortion providers, we were engaged to craft a campaign that would begin to shift public perception.

Understanding that protecting privacy is a critical component to protecting reproductive freedom, I helped develop a series of powerful testimonials that brought seven iconic actresses together to share real women’s stories about the impact of attacks on reproductive care called the Draw the Line Monologues

This series received an overwhelmingly positive response across platforms and publications, and participant, Amy Brenneman continued her commitment to the cause by serving as a spokeswoman during a grassroots rally on the day of the ruling.
